We have another website live, woohoo!
Instead of us telling you about what the Arty Card Company do, we think they summarise themselves beautifully....
“The Arty Card Company is an Isle of Wight based print and production business that commissions, produces and markets greetings cards for local artists. All our ranges are linked to our glorious Island; some by birth, some by scene and others by a deeper sense of belonging to a unique community of people living an Island life.”
What a beautiful concept to build a business on. They help raise the profile of local artists and promote the Island's charm and character to support the local economy and that of the artists they work with.
Being an Isle of Wight business as well, we were delighted when they came to us to create their website. Naturally, it had to be image based to show off the artists work, but it also had to fairly simple and promote the artists individual stories and skills.
Our design is clean, professional and features a strong internal navigation which encourages the audience to explore. The images shown on the Home page all link through to the artist's profile, making it really straightforward for anyone to identify artists' other work and find out more about their inspiration. A short bio gives the audience a snapshot into their work with the opportunity to view more on their individual profile, whilst a small introductory paragraph explains welcomes people to the Arty Cary Company and summarises their values.
Other features include:
- Full screen imagery for up close details
- Social sharing button for a variety of social media sites
- Simple footer with contact details so no matter where someone is in the website, you don't have to hunt for contact details.
- Contact form
- Partners who stock the cards and links out to their websites or social media
- Google map showing HQ location
And of course, every website we produce comes fully responsive (see why this is so important here) , packed full of SEO goodies and has it's own content management system so the Arty Card Company can maintain their website themselves.
So keep an eye out for the cards because buying one will mean you support the Isle of Wight artist community, and let us know your thoughts on their website!
